Once you reach the third floor you will discover the Bazoches room. This room is named after Bazoches, a beautiful castle in Burgundy and home of Maréchal de Vauban, one of Alexis de Tocqueville’s illustrious forefathers and the father of modern military fortification. You will also have the privilege of sleeping in Alexis de Tocqueville’s own bed frame, a 19th century Napoleon style bed. This room features 2 separate beds of 190 cm (75”) long and 130 cm (51”) wide each. The bathroom offers an Italian style shower.
